Concern citizens and public interest advocates in the Atwima Nwabeagya North District in the Ashanti Region have publicly registered their displeasure towards the President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo over his decision to reappoint the District Chief Executive, Miss Rebecca Yeboah.
This was made known to the press today at a press conference organized by the group to register their concerns to the president also to remind him not to reappoint the current DCE.
The chairman of the group, Rev.Kwame Afreh Acheampong alleged that the DCE has dual citizenship. He also claims the DCE has an American green card and also a Ghanaian card.
Moreover, Rev. Afreh said the mineral resources for the district which is the quarry at Barekese have been mismanaged by the DCE claiming she has underestimated the intelligence of the good people of the district.
He added that the DCE has vowed not to cooperate with NANANOM for developmental projects for the district.
Furthermore, he appealed to the President not to reappoint Hon Rebecca Yeboah as their DCE because of her poor performances since her appointment into office.
He added that, if Nana Addo adamantly reappoints Hon Rebecca Yeboah, they will call for a probe into the three and half years of her leadership in the district to expose the mess she caused to the good people of the NPP party and the District as a whole.
