Public Cautioned: Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene Not Managing Director of Yeboah Afihene Industries – Management
The Management Board and Shareholders of Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited (YAIL) have issued a strong public disclaimer cautioning all tenants, clients, and members of the general public against dealing with Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene, who is falsely presenting himself as the Managing Director of the company.
In the official statement released from the company’s head office at Mattress House, OTB 405 Fuller Road, Kumasi, the management categorically stated that Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene is not the Managing Director of Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited (YAIL) and, therefore, has no authority whatsoever to collect rent, receive payments, or transact any business on behalf of the company.
“This is to formally notify all tenants and the general public that Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene is not the Managing Director of Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited (YAIL). Accordingly, no tenant or member of the public should make any payment of rent or other monies to him in respect of YAIL. Any person who disregards this notice and makes payments to Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene does so entirely at their own risk,” the management stated in its disclaimer.
According to the release, this public notice became necessary following reports that the said individual had been approaching tenants and third parties under the pretense of being the company’s Managing Director, collecting rent, and conducting unauthorized transactions in the company’s name. The company emphasized that these actions are illegal, misleading, and without any official endorsement from YAIL.
The management further noted that Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited operates under a legitimate and transparent corporate structure, with all administrative and financial operations supervised by duly appointed officers and board members.
“The company operates strictly in accordance with Ghana’s corporate governance laws, and only authorized representatives of Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited are mandated to handle rent and financial matters. The public is, therefore, urged to verify all transactions directly with our head office before making any payments,” the statement added.
Phyllis Yeboah Afihene, speaking on behalf of the Management Board and Shareholders, reiterated the company’s commitment to professionalism, integrity, and transparency in all its dealings. She assured tenants and stakeholders that YAIL remains fully operational and is taking necessary steps to protect both its corporate image and the interests of its legitimate clients.
The management also issued a stern warning that anyone found impersonating an officer of the company or collecting money under false pretenses will face legal action. They urged tenants to keep records of all their financial transactions and promptly report any suspicious approaches or payment demands not sanctioned by the company.
