Prince Douglas Asamany Receives Prestigious 2025 Social Change Advocate Award at Philanthropic Awards & Charity Night

In a night filled with celebration, inspiration, and a renewed call to deepen humanitarian service, Prince Douglas Asamany was honored with the 2025 Social Change Advocate Award at the highly anticipated Philanthropic Awards & Charity Night, organized by the African Leaders and Generational Achievers Forum (AFLAG).
Prince Asamany, a respected social impact leader and humanitarian, was recognized for his exceptional dedication to social transformation, community welfare, and empowerment across Ghana, particularly through the impactful work of the Prince Asamany Foundation.

The citation paid glowing tribute to his relentless commitment, describing him as a visionary catalyst for human development whose initiatives continue to uplift vulnerable populations and reshape community livelihoods. Guided by the foundation’s inspiring motto, “Hope, Development, and Opportunity to All,” Prince Asamany has spearheaded life-changing interventions in health, education, and sustainable livelihoods.

One of his most celebrated initiatives, “Joy to the Street,” was highlighted for restoring dignity, compassion, and hope to people living on the streets. The program has provided food, clothing, counseling, and pathways to reintegration for countless beneficiaries. In addition, his foundation’s free medical outreach, educational support programs, youth empowerment training, and community development projects have extended services to underserved communities across Kumasi and beyond.

AFLAG also emphasized Prince Asamany’s rising influence as a promoter of Green Chemistry Education, acknowledging his advocacy for environmentally friendly scientific practices and sustainable development. His efforts in bridging science, innovation, and environmental responsibility were praised as timely contributions to Africa’s developmental future.
