The tragic Helicopter crash: National Association of Hard Rock and Underground Miners extends condolences to bereaved families
The National Association of Hard Rock and Underground Miners together with all Small Scale Miners in Ghana have extend their deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the Ministers of Defense and Environment and the others who were caught up in the same tragedy.
The tragic Helicopter crash which happened on the 6th of August, 2025 at Adansi Akrofoum in the Ashanti Region claimed the lives of two sector Ministers and six other public servants.
The associations have stated that, “We mourn the lost of all those dedicated public servants who were committed to shaping the course of Ghana’s development. Particularly, in the mining sector.
“Their tireless efforts to promote responsible mining practices and environmental sustainability will be greatly missed”.
We pledge our full support to the state and bereaved families during this difficult time.
“May the souls of the departed rest in peace and may their legacies continue to inspire us to work towards a better Ghana”. Thank you.
