Accra Circuit Court have been remanded five person’s including pregnant woman for allegedly robbed a Chinese woman some amount of cash totally Gh¢410,000, $8,000 and two Iphones.
Prince Anthony, Izichuku Igwenagu, Emmanuellla Chinwetalu, Martin Ahamaful Onwukwa, Godfrey Chukuebuka and Yaw John Darko Ikenna were the accused persons.
They were charged with conspiracy to commit crime to with robbery
The Court presided by Mrs Susana Eduful denied their plea, pending further investigations and would re appear to Court on December 28.
The Prosecutor, led by assistant Superintendent of Police Seth Frimpong opposed the grant of bail saying if accused persons were granted bail, they will himper investments.
He told the Court that police at peril of their lives manged to arrest the accused persons and that they had extended investigations into other places because some of the accused persons were said to belongs to group of robbers who allegedly travelled to Ghana to Robb and leave the jurisdiction.
According to him, the Police intelligence that Ikenna had send money to Emmanuellla to travel out of the country
