“On 2nd July 2024, the police received information that the suspect had shot three people, claiming they were part of a group that had come to attack him.
“A police team visited the scene of the incident and has conveyed the bodies of the three deceased persons to the morgue for preservation and autopsy,” the Police administration narrated in a statement.
According to the police, the exhibits retrieved from the scene include one motorbike, eight spent cartridges, and four cutlasses.
The Ghana Police Service further added that efforts are underway to locate the suspect, Osman Majeed, who is currently at large.
“We wish to urge members of the community to remain calm as the investigation into the incident continues, with the aim of getting the perpetrator arrested to face justice,” the Police Service concluded.
