Oyoko Hemaa Calls on Government to Support Asanti Oyoko Development During Homecoming Launch

The Asanti Oyoko community has officially launched its annual homecoming initiative, a celebration aimed at fostering unity and promoting the town’s development. The event, which brought together residents, traditional leaders, and youth from within and outside the town, featured vibrant cultural displays and a call for collective action to advance community growth.

At the launch, Nana Serwaa Akoto Tiwaah II, Oyoko Hemaa, delivered a heartfelt appeal to the government, urging support for critical development projects. She highlighted the urgent need for improved educational facilities, construction of public toilets, and the creation of job opportunities for the youth.

Nana Serwaa Akoto Tiwaah II also encouraged the town’s young people to be diligent, disciplined, and dedicated in all their endeavors, emphasizing that their efforts would play a crucial role in transforming Asanti Oyoko.

 

Speaking at the event, Mr. Collins Agyei, head of the organizing committee, called on all Asanti Oyoko residents to unite and actively contribute to the town’s development agenda. He praised the work of Mr. Asafo Agyei, Public Relations Officer, and other top organizers for their meticulous planning, which ensured the success of the launch.

The program featured a colorful array of performances, including poems, dramas, and energetic dance displays by the community’s children. These performances not only showcased local talent but also added a festive and engaging atmosphere to the homecoming launch.

Hon. Emmanuel Akuoko Oyoko, Assemblyman for the area, reminded the youth that the future of the town rests in their hands. He encouraged them to rise to the occasion, contribute meaningfully to community projects, and collectively elevate Asanti Oyoko to greater heights.

The launch of the homecoming initiative marks a renewed commitment by the Asanti Oyoko community to work together, harness local talent, and seek both governmental and communal support to drive sustainable development in the town.
