Concerned NPP Youth in Asunafo south wish to inform the leadership of their party in Ahafo region lead by the Regional Chairman, Mr. Kwabena Owusu Sekyere and the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to sack their abysmal District Chief Executive Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr.

Press release signed by the convener of the group; Mr. Kwaku Charles congratulated true NPP members in their District who took the lead to let the whole world to know the poor performance of their failure DCE Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. on Wednesday 28th April, 2021.

The group associated themselves to earlier appeal made by some party faithful’s in Asunafo South that His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo should reject the District Chief Executive Osei Bonsu Snr’s bid to become a DCE of the area again.

“We want to put on record that our Director of Communication, Mr. Ernest Opoku Gyamfi (Foxy) lied to the good people of Ghana and the world at large. He himself known Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. is the worst DCE Asunafo South has got since the creation of the district.” Part of the release said.

According to them, Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. lack qualities to manage office as DCE for the four years and all his moves has been a disgrace to the NPP party and detriment of the District. His divisive and insatiable desire for self-wealth making as well as his unreliable nature has severely been a great disadvantage to the District and the Party in its development and other positive prospects.

“Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. in his powers has denied five Assembly Members to work at the assembly when they won the last assembly elections genuinely. He collected all their pink sheets and later told them he can’t find them. We want to use this medium to ask Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. to provide the pink sheet with immediate effect. A source from his Camp has revealed that he has said right after 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections that Nana Addo’s administration is not attractive anymore and a sitting DCE who can make such uncultured comment on the party has no business to represent the party in the district.” The group revealed in their statement.

Concerned NPP Youth in Asunafo south urged Ghanaians and the NPP leadership to reject any report that will put their incompetent DCE top in his first four years assessment. According to them, such report is fake and whosoever behind has been motivated to throw dust on the eye for their personal interest.

The group challenged their DCE to come out with what he did in his first four years if any, and also call on him to answer few questions as follows:

1. Apart from Central Government projects how many did he do in the District?

2. How many youths were employed during his four years from the District?

3. When did he started campaigning for Ing. Kobby Amoah Mensah in the 2020 elections?

4. Why party leaders have to apologise to traditional leaders and residence on his behalf before NPP starts campaign in various communities during 2020 elections?

5. Why is it that galamsey at Asufufuo ongoing after government directed to stop such act in the country?

6. How many times did he visited communities in the district during his term of office?

7. How many toilets did he said he has built at Sankore in the media and what is the truth?

8. Has the people burnt Ing. Kobby Amoah Mensah’s car arrested?

“Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. we don’t hate you in anyway, we fought and supported your nomination last four years but we didn’t know you are such irresponsible as far as DCE responsibility is concern. Stay away from Asunafo South DCE raise in Nana Addo’s second term if you really love the party. We wish you well Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. our failure DCE ever in Asunafo South.” The statement disclosed.

According to them, Rejection of Osei Bonsu Snr. re-nomination as District Chief Executive (DCE) means NPP to win Asunafo South parliamentary seat and Asunafo South’s progress for the masses are optimistic.
