The Baglo community in Oti Region have finally banished the Baglo SHS head for standing against them and exam fraud. It is believed that his banishment will pave way for better WASSCE results.
In a post shared on Thursday, 22nd September 2022, by the Executive Director of Africa Educational Watch, Mr Kofi Asare, he wrote;
“He is one of the few SHS heads Eduwatch reported as resisting strong community pressure to collect cash and allow exam fraud like other school/communities do.”
The community blamed his vigilance as responsible for the abysmal WASSCE results last year. We are grateful to the security agencies for their swift response to protect and relocate him.
Kofi Asare stated that Baglo is an example of how exam fraud has become a culture in our community and SHS. Sad the menace of apo and supervised cheating is now an entitlement.
“The man is a hero! I salute other SHS leaders leaders and teachers going through similar ordeals because of good conscience. Posterity will smile at you all.” The EduWatch boss praised the banished head master.
