Onua Dɔ Fun Club Donates Sanit outation Items to Kwaso Police Station to Support Chief’s Vision

In a bid to support sanitation and development in the Kwaso community, the Onua Dɔ Fun Club has donated essential cleaning materials to the newly established Kwaso Police Station. The items, which include dustbins, mop buckets, and long brooms, are estimated to be worth several thousands of Ghana cedis.

The donation was made during a short ceremony attended by club members, community leaders, and residents. Speaking to the media, the Chairman of the Onua Dɔ Fun Club, Mr. Atta Emmanuel Junior, explained that the gesture is in line with the vision of the Chief of Kwaso, Nana Osei Adutwum, to promote sanitation, security, and general development in the community.

“This donation forms part of our support for the chief’s efforts to make Kwaso a clean and safe place for all. We believe that by equipping the police station with the needed sanitation items, we are contributing to a healthy and disciplined environment,” Mr. Atta stated.

He further called on all residents of Kwaso, both at home and abroad, to come together and support the development agenda of the community. He also used the occasion to advise the youth to stay away from drug abuse, particularly harmful substances like marijuana (weed), tramadol, and alcoholic energy drinks such as ‘Red’.“We must all help to build a better Kwaso. Let us stay united and avoid things that destroy our future, like drug abuse. The development of Kwaso depends on us.”

Some members of the Onua Dɔ Fun Club also spoke to the media, reiterating their commitment to the progress of the community. They expressed their readiness to mobilize resources and efforts to champion developmental projects in Kwaso.“We are determined to come together as a group to push for the betterment of Kwaso. This is just the beginning, and we plan to do more in collaboration with the traditional leaders and the youth.”

The donation was met with appreciation from the police and traditional leaders, who commended the group for their selfless contribution to community development.

The Onua Dɔ Fun Club’s initiative is seen as a shining example of how community-based organizations can support local governance and improve living conditions through collaboration and civic responsibility.
