Ojakayee Donates Food Items to 250 Widows and 1,000 Children in Mankranso

Mr Stephen Nkrumah, popularly known as Ojakayee, has extended a heart-warming gesture to widows and children in Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region by donating assorted food items to support vulnerable families in the community.

The philanthropic exercise benefited 250 widows and about 1,000 children, who received 250 bags of rice, 250 bags of Nkoko (maize), 20 crates of mineral drinks and 25 boxes of biscuits. The donation was aimed at easing the burden on widows and ensuring that children from less-privileged homes have access to basic food items.

Speaking during the donation ceremony, Mr Stephen Nkrumah explained that the initiative was driven by his commitment to giving back to society and improving the living conditions of the less fortunate. He described widows and children as some of the most vulnerable groups in society and said they deserve special attention and care.

Mr Nkrumah, affectionately called Ojakayee, further announced that the donation exercise would be made an annual initiative, assuring the beneficiaries of sustained support in the years ahead. According to him, the gesture is not only to provide food but also to bring hope, joy and encouragement to families facing economic hardship.

After the presentation, Benjamin Kwarteng spoke with some of the beneficiaries, who expressed profound gratitude to Mr Nkrumah for his kindness. The widows noted that the food items would significantly support their households and reduce their daily struggles. They praised Ojakayee for his compassion, generosity and unwavering commitment to supporting the needy.

Residents and opinion leaders in the Mankranso community also commended Mr Stephen Nkrumah for the timely intervention, describing it as a demonstration of true philanthropy and social responsibility. They lauded his efforts, saying the donation has made a positive impact on the lives of many families.

 

The initiative has once again positioned Mr Stephen Nkrumah, popularly known as Ojakayee, as a dedicated philanthropist whose actions continue to bring relief, dignity and hope to widows and children within the Mankranso community and beyond.
