The presiding Elder of The Apostolic church Ghana, Oforikrom assembly, Elder Sampson Kofi Wiredu has emphasized on the need for Christians to fulfil the will of God by giving support to the widows and needy among them in their various communities.
He said, such support will go along way give hope to those in need to enable them join the strong once to help promote the kingdom of God.
Elder Sampson Kofi Wiredu was speaking to the media when the Church presented financial support weath Ghc 13,000 shared among Children of Ashan Children’s Home, widows and needy but brilliant students in the church to support their education career.
He moreover, made passionate appealed to his fellow Christians to always give back the poor Among them.
The presentation was supported by the area head of the church, Pastor J.A Abraham, Elder Osei Bonsu, Elder Thomas Adarkwa, Elder Samuel Ampomah Duah, Elder Charles Oduro, Elder Kofi Ameyaw, Deacons, Deaconesses and the congregation.
The supervisor of the Ashan Children’s Home, Mr Williams Asirifi Tenkorang expressed gratitude to the church and Elder Sampson Kofi Wiredu’s family for continue support always given to the home.
He used the opportunity to appealed to other institutions to come to their aid.
