The Offinso Traditional Council has installed Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III as the new Queen Mother of the Offinso Traditional Area after an eight-month vacancy. Her installation follows the decision of the Offinso Akokondease and Ahyirem Royal Family, which chose her to ascend the stool.
Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III’s installation ceremony was marked by traditional rites and customs, and she was officially introduced to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who oversees the entire Ashanti Kingdom, of which Offinso is a part.
