Lawyer Anthony Mmieh New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2024 Parliamentary candidate for Odotobri
has cut sod for the construction of an artificial turf football field at Afoako in the constituency.
The AstroTurf field which is a social responsibility project was facilitated by the Middle Belt Authority and the support of parliamentary candidate for the area Lawyer Anthony Mmieh to serve the football needs of the youth in the constituency.
The project to be constructed by Excel Fortune company
expected to be completed in four months with fencing and floodlights for night activities.
Speaking to media during the groundbreaking ceremony today, Parliamentary candidate Lawyer Anthony Mmieh said “there is the need for us to identify talents in constituency
hence the provision of the AstroTurf to facilitate these young footballers to become professional footballers”.
He called for the support from the youth of the community to ensure that the facility was completed according to the timelines allotted,
The Chief of Afoako, Nana Poku Nuamah urged the contractor to completed the project at the time frame
He urged his people to vote massive for the next NPP government led by Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia come December 7th 2024 general elections to continue the developmental projects in the area.
