The district chief executive for Sekyere Afram Plains district, Hon Joseph Gyamfi Owusu a.k.a Odenkyem has presented school uniforms to over 236 pupils of Wenamda D/A primary and JHS 1.
The presentation was done during his visit to the school as part of ‘MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL “program to welcome and motivate newly pupils to various schools.
Special package were presented to forty-five (45) newly KG pupils.
Hon Joseph Gyamfi Owusu was flanked by the district director of education, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Amankwah, Staffs of Ghana education service and some others from the assembly.
In his address, Hon Joseph Gyamfi Owusu made passionate appealed to the people to come together and fight for developmental projects in the district
He urged parents to support their children with extra covid-19 safety protocols.
After the visit, the district director together with the Dce held P.T.A meeting with parents and teachers to consider the contribution of each other to help improve upon quality education in the community.
The district director of education, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Amankwah, in his part used the opportunity to appealed to the parents to execute their roles as key stakeholders in Education.
