The Management of O.T HOPE FOUNDATION in Kumasi has celebrates 10 year anniversary with fund raising ceremony to rehabilitate St.Paul Basic school.
Speaking during a colorful ceremony, the assembly member for Afful-Nkwanta electoral area in Kumasi who double as executive director of O.T Hope Foundation, Hon Daniel Otuo Acheampong appealed to key stakeholders in the country to partner with Non-governmental organizations to help equip the youth with job training skills.
He said, some youth in various communities found themselves joining some bad associated groups involving in social vices like armed robbery,drug abuse, smoking and alcoholism because of lack of jobs opportunity available hence maintained the need to establish partnership between assembly members and NGOs to help train them with requisite job training.
Hon. Daniel Otuo Acheampong emphasized on the contributions of the Foundation which has giving support to some needy students to tertiary education and continue taking care of over one hundred and seventy (170) widows in the community.
The district pastor of Assemblies of God, Akwatia-line, Rev John Kofi Bosomtwe, expressed gratitude to the assembly member for the continue support given to the needy students as well as widows in the community which form part of a duty of every Christian.
He urged men who are the head of every family to pray hard to enable them live long to take good care of their family because the devil always use them as target.
Some philantrophy who have supported the foundation in it 10 years achievement includes the CEO of Unity Oil, Dr.Dr Kwame Kyei Baffour, Rev.John Kofi Bosomtwe of Assemblies of God, Akwatia-line and others were presented with citations for their support.
