The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo constituency, Hon Adelaide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim has inspected the ongoing construction of collapsed bridge at Birem in her constituency.
The MP and her entourage visited the construction site of a bridge at Birem to ascertain for herself the progress of work.
The legislator after inspecting the project, commended the contractor for the work done so far
“I am impressed about the work so far, the contractor has done well, I am just urging him to speed up the work so that he can finish it before the rains set in, because the people find it difficult to move during the rainy season due to the collapse of the bridge. I am not sleeping because of this stretch,” she stated.
The MP further said completion of the bridge Will go a long way to make access to the neighboring Communities more motor-able and easy.
Some community members in the area thanked the MP, and the Government for ensuring Birem got its fair share of development projects.
They indicated that the community gets cut off during the rainy season and this has been affecting their farming activities, hence the construction of the road and the bridge will go a long way to relieve them from suffering.
The contractor of the project assured the people of Birem and the MP that the projects being undertaken by his group, would be done within the stipulated time frame.
