NPP Stalwart COKA Donates Wheelchair, School Supplies, and Financial Support to Physically Challenged Girl in Kyekyewere

In a remarkable gesture of compassion and support, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, a prominent National Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart and philanthropist, has donated a brand-new wheelchair, school supplies, and financial assistance to a physically challenged girl in Kyekyewere, Atwima Kwanwoma District.

This marks the fourth consecutive donation by COKA to physically challenged individuals and groups within the past two weeks, highlighting his unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community upliftment.

During the visit, COKA presented the young girl with a variety of school accessories, including a school bag, water bottle, and bowl, among other essential items, to support her educational needs. In addition, he provided a box of cooking oil, sardines, a bag of rice, and an undisclosed amount of money to assist the family in managing day-to-day expenses.

The philanthropic visit was prompted by a social media video highlighting the young girl’s circumstances, which moved COKA to take immediate action.

Speaking during the presentation on Tuesday, December 6, 2026, COKA urged members of the public to show empathy and care for those living with physical challenges.

“I am delighted to see that this family has taken such good care of the girl. This is the kind of love and support we should extend to physically challenged individuals in our communities,” he said. “I encourage you to continue caring for her; she may very well be a source of blessing to this family.”

COKA also pledged to continue supporting the family and promised future visits to ensure the young girl’s well-being and educational progress.

The family, visibly moved by the surprise gesture, expressed profound gratitude, emphasizing that the assistance came at a crucial time, especially with the reopening of schools. They prayed for COKA’s long life and continued good health.

This latest act of kindness by COKA reinforces his reputation as a dedicated philanthropist committed to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals across the Ashanti Region.
