Nnuasohene Laments Lack of Development, Calls for Collaborative Support

The Chief of Nnuaso in the Ashanti Region, Nana Obiri Yeboah, has raised concerns over the slow pace of development in his community and is calling for urgent support to complete critical self-initiated projects.

The community has embarked on key infrastructure projects, including a toilet facility, a classroom block, and a computer laboratory, all of which remain unfinished due to financial constraints. These projects are essential to improving education, sanitation, and overall living conditions in Nnuaso.

A Plea for Support

Addressing residents and stakeholders, Nnuasohene stressed the need for collective effort in community development, emphasizing that no single individual can bear the burden alone.

“One man cannot do it all. We need the support of philanthropists, corporate organizations, and well-meaning individuals to complete these projects and uplift our community,” he stated.

Road Network Concerns

In addition to the stalled projects, Nana Obiri Yeboah reminded the government of its 2024 campaign promise to fix the deteriorating road network in Nnuaso. He noted that the poor road conditions continue to hinder economic activities, making transportation difficult for residents.

“Good roads are essential for development. We are appealing to the government to fulfill its promise and improve our road network to enhance mobility and economic growth,” he urged.

Commitment to Development

The Bosomtwe District Assembly, which oversees development in the area, has pledged to support sustainable initiatives that stimulate socio-economic growth. However, the chief’s call highlights the pressing need for immediate intervention from both public and private entities.

With adequate support, the completion of these essential projects will not only transform Nnuaso but also contribute to the broader development agenda of the Ashanti Region.
