Nine Hardworking Staff of Asokore Rural Bank Honored at 37th Annual General Meeting

Asokore Rural Bank PLC has celebrated nine dedicated employees for their exemplary service and commitment to the bank. The honored staff members, each recognized for their hard work over the past 20 years, received citations as part of the bank’s 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the bank’s headquarters in Asokore.

The event, which brought together shareholders, board members, and bank staff, underscored the bank’s commitment to appreciating and rewarding long-standing employees who have contributed to its success over the years. In his address, Mr. Agyabeng Owusu, the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Asokore Rural Bank, commended the honorees for their tireless efforts, dedication, and significant contributions to the bank’s growth.

Mr. Owusu shared with attendees that the bank had achieved notable success in the past year, reporting a profit after tax of GH¢992,604.00 in 2023. This achievement, he emphasized, is a result of the collective efforts of both management and staff. “The success we celebrate today is a testament to the commitment, discipline, and hard work of our entire team. The achievements would not have been possible without the dedication of employees like those we honor today,” he noted.

The nine honorees represent various departments and branches within the bank, showcasing the diverse talent and skill set that drives the organization. The recognized staff members include:

1. Mr. Oduro Kwarteng – Branch Manager, Kwadaso

2. Mrs. Elizabeth Bonnah – Branch Manageress, Oduom

3. Ms. Vida Dapaah – Deputy Branch Manageress, Sokoban

4. Mr. John Owusu – Deputy Branch Manager, Dadease

5. Mr. Williams Agyei – Head of Recovery Unit, Head Office

6. Ms. Rita Pokuaa – Teller, Oduom

7. Mr. Francis Twumasi – Chief Driver, Head Office

8. Ms. Ama Pomaa – Principal Messenger, Asokore

9. Ms. Rebecca Owusu – Assistant Principal Messenger, Effiduase

In his closing remarks, Mr. Owusu expressed his gratitude to the board, management, and all staff of Asokore Rural Bank for their contributions to the bank’s growth and stability.
