NDC to Launch Comprehensive 2024 Manifesto on August 24

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to unveil its Manifesto for the 2024 general elections at a major event scheduled for 12 noon on Saturday, August 24th, 2024. The launch will take place at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium, University of Education, Winneba, in the Central Region.

This launch follows the recent introduction of the party’s “Youth Manifesto,” which outlines its strategies and commitments aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of Ghana’s youth if elected.

The highlight of the event will be the presence of the NDC’s Flagbearer, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, who will serve as the Special Guest of Honor. The launch will also feature key figures from within the NDC, including members of the National Executive Committee, the Council of Elders, Members of Parliament, and Parliamentary Candidates. The event will be attended by distinguished guests from various sectors, including the Diplomatic Corps, Clergy, Traditional Authorities, Civil Society Organizations, Academia, Labor Organizations, and the Creative Arts industry.

The announcement was made in a press statement issued on Monday, August 19th, 2024, by Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC’s national communications officer. The statement extended an invitation to the general public to join the event and witness the party’s vision for Ghana’s future.

The manifesto launch aims to provide a platform for the NDC to present its comprehensive agenda for national transformation. Various speakers will discuss critical thematic areas, outlining the party’s plans for renewing and advancing Ghana’s development.

Attendees are advised to arrive by 11 AM to ensure a prompt start to the event. Media organizations intending to cover the launch are encouraged to contact the National Communications Bureau of the NDC for accreditation.
