NDC Offinso South: Osei Douglas Declares Bid for Deputy Communication Officer Position
Osei Douglas, a 35-year-old degree holder and committed grassroots member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy Communication Officer in the Offinso South Constituency.
Announcing his decision, Mr. Douglas, who hails from Abofour in the Offinso Municipality, stated that his aspiration is driven by years of dedicated service to the party and a strong desire to contribute more effectively to its growth and electoral success within the constituency.
He brings to the race a wealth of experience gained from serving the party in several strategic capacities at the grassroots level. Over the years, Osei Douglas has worked as Branch Communication Officer, Branch Organizer, Branch Secretary, Branch Chairman and Ward Coordinator. According to him, these roles have equipped him with a deep understanding of party structures, internal mobilisation, and the critical role communication plays in strengthening party unity and public engagement.
Mr. Douglas emphasized that effective communication remains a vital tool in projecting the vision, values and policies of the NDC to party faithful and the general public. He believes the Offinso South Constituency requires a vibrant, responsive and people-centered communication strategy to consolidate the party’s base and attract new supporters.
“I am ready to work with the people, listen to their concerns and make a difference,” he stated, stressing that leadership is about service, humility and teamwork. He noted that his approach will be inclusive, working closely with constituency executives, communicators and grassroots members to ensure the party’s message is clear, consistent and impactful.
The aspirant further expressed his commitment to discipline, unity and innovation within the party’s communication machinery. He pledged to use modern communication tools alongside traditional grassroots engagement to amplify the voice of the NDC across communities in the constituency.
