NDC Hosts Vibrant Soccer Tournament in Manso Adubia to Engage Voters for Upcoming Elections

In a bid to galvanize support and strengthen community ties ahead of the December general elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Manso Adubia has launched an exciting electoral area soccer competition. The tournament, which  features eight teams from various electoral areas competing in local football matches.

This initiative underscores the NDC’s dedication to grassroots engagement, promoting physical activity, and fostering a sense of unity among residents. The soccer matches, held at community sports grounds, have attracted enthusiastic participation from both residents and party members, demonstrating the party’s commitment to deepening its connection with the electorate.

At the tournament’s opening, Addai Joseph the NDC Youth organizer for the constituency, spoke about the event’s broader significance. “The soccer competition goes beyond just being a sports event; it’s a chance for us to come together, discuss important issues, and build a stronger community,” he stated.

The competition has seen spirited participation, with teams competing for various prizes:
– 1st Prize: 2,000 GH₵, a new set of jerseys, a football, and a trophy
– 2nd Prize: 1,500 GH₵ and a football
– 3rd Prize: 1,000 GH₵ and a football
– 4th Prize: 500 GH₵

The event is further enhanced by accompanying community activities, including health seminars and voter education workshops aimed at promoting civic engagement and informed decision-making.

The organizing committee comprised Mr. Daniel Adjei, Mr. Siaw Stephen, Mr. Kwaku Twumasi, Mr. Owusu Emmanuel, Mr. Owusu Isaac, Mr. Amoako Eric, and Mr. Prempeh John. Constituency executives present included Youth Organizer Joseph Addai, Women Organizer Nana Agyeiwaa Kodie, Zongo Caucus Coordinator Gideon Ayambila, and Communication Officer Bernard Ntiamoah.

The soccer competition serves as a vibrant and interactive approach to voter engagement, reflecting the NDC’s strategic focus on community-driven initiatives as the elections draw near.

As party their contributions to the gala they donated several packs of verna bottle drinking water,parks of assorted minerals and an undisclosed amount of fatty envelope on behalf of the constituency.
