National Assignment in Japan: Felicia Adjei Pursues Infrastructure and Social Development for Constituents
The Honourable Felicia Adjei, Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, has joined President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and a high-powered government delegation on a national assignment in Japan aimed at deepening bilateral ties and unlocking new opportunities for Ghana’s development.

The visit is centered on strengthening cooperation with Japanese institutions and companies in key sectors such as infrastructure, investment, and job creation. The delegation has already engaged with executives of TICAD Yokohama and the Organisation for Public-Private Partnerships (OPPS), focusing on forging strategic alliances to accelerate Ghana’s economic transformation.

Hon. Felicia Adjei, who has been a vocal advocate for grassroots development, said her participation goes beyond national interests, as she is also championing initiatives tailored to address the challenges facing her constituents in Kintampo South. “I’m excited to be part of this envoy leading the country’s development. Through this visit, I am also working on collaborating with some Japanese companies to extend development to my constituency, Kintampo,” she stated.

The MP highlighted migration pressures, youth unemployment, and the lack of basic social amenities as critical issues confronting Kintampo South, noting that her engagements with Japanese companies are geared towards securing direct support for local projects. “Migration, youth unemployment, and access to basic needs have been our major challenges. I am also in talks with some Japanese companies for direct collaboration to support development projects in my constituency,” she emphasised.

Her proactive efforts on the international stage reflect a dual commitment — contributing to Ghana’s broader national development agenda while ensuring that Kintampo South benefits directly from global partnerships. Hon. Adjei’s determination to attract investment and social development projects continues to cement her reputation as a tireless advocate for her people.
