Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso Lauds New Training Centre as Catalyst for Service Excellence

The Board Chairman of Juaben Rural Bank PLC, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso, has commended the management and leadership of the bank for their foresight and commitment in establishing an ultramodern training centre aimed at boosting staff capacity and enhancing service delivery.
He gave the commendation during the official commissioning of the state-of-the-art facility located at the bank’s headquarters in Juaben, in the Ashanti Region. According to Nana Dr. Dankawoso, the training centre will serve as a cornerstone for the bank’s continued growth by equipping its workforce with the requisite knowledge and skills to adapt to modern trends in the banking sector.
“This facility is a major milestone for Juaben Rural Bank and a clear indication that we are committed to excellence,” he stated. “Continuous training and development of staff are key in delivering top-notch customer service, increasing operational efficiency, and staying competitive in today’s dynamic banking landscape.”
Nana Dr. Dankawoso expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Managing Director of ARB Apex Bank PLC, Mr. Alex Kwasi Awuah, for gracing the occasion and supporting the vision of Juaben Rural Bank. He also acknowledged the tireless efforts of the CEO, Mr. Noble Augustine Awere Damoah, and the entire management team and board of directors for their dedication to the realization of the training centre.
He noted that the centre would not only refresh and upgrade the knowledge of the bank’s staff but also serve as a community resource hub where the youth in Juaben could access training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and soft skills. “We want this centre to be a beacon of hope and opportunity for the entire Juaben traditional area,” he added.
The commissioning ceremony also featured powerful remarks from Mr. Alex Kwasi Awuah, Managing Director of ARB Apex Bank PLC, who praised Juaben Rural Bank for prioritizing staff development and community growth. In his speech, Mr. Awuah also drew attention to the alarming rate of deforestation in the country, largely caused by illegal mining and unchecked logging. He urged Ghanaians to take individual action by planting at least one tree every year to help restore the environment and avert future food shortages.
Mr. Noble Augustine Awere Damoah, CEO of Juaben Rural Bank, took the opportunity to stress the importance of financial safety. He advised Ghanaians to deposit their money in banks instead of storing it at home, which he said exposes individuals to theft and financial insecurity. “Our bank is ready to serve and protect your hard-earned money. Let’s move away from the habit of keeping cash under pillows and in locked boxes,” he appealed.
The commissioning event brought together traditional leaders, banking professionals, staff of Juaben Rural Bank, youth representatives, and residents of the community. Many lauded the initiative as a forward-looking step that aligns with the bank’s mission to provide exceptional financial services while investing in human capital and local development.
With the new training centre now operational, Juaben Rural Bank is poised to set a new standard in rural banking excellence—reaffirming its position as a model financial institution in the Ashanti Region and beyond.
