MTN Ghana has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to promoting cultural heritage and supporting socio-economic development in the Ashanti Region following the official launch of the 2026 Ashanti Fest at Kaasi in Kumasi.

The launch event brought together key stakeholders, traditional authorities, government representatives, and members of the public, all united by a shared vision of celebrating the rich cultural identity and unity of the Ashanti people. The festival, which has grown into one of the region’s flagship cultural events, continues to serve as a vital platform for showcasing tradition, tourism, and community development.

Delivering his address at the ceremony, the Northern Sector Manager of MTN Ghana, Mr. Simon Amoh, expressed deep appreciation to all dignitaries and participants for their presence, despite their busy schedules. He noted that the strong attendance underscores the importance of the Ashanti Fest and reflects the collective commitment to sustaining the region’s cultural legacy.
