The Asanti Oyoko community recently witnessed a successful launch of its annual homecoming initiative, spearheaded by Mr. Collins Agyei, head of the organizing committee. The event, designed to promote unity and advance the town’s development, attracted residents, traditional authorities, and youth from across the area.

In his address, Mr. Agyei called on all Asanti Oyoko residents to work collaboratively to drive the town’s growth. He emphasized that the development of the community depends not only on government support but also on the collective effort, dedication, and active participation of the people themselves.

Mr. Agyei commended the efforts of Mr. Asafo Agyei, Public Relations Officer, and other key organizers, recognizing their commitment and meticulous planning, which were instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of the homecoming launch.

The launch was marked by a vibrant display of cultural performances, including poems, dramas, and energetic dance routines performed by the community’s children. These performances highlighted local talent and contributed to the lively and festive atmosphere of the event.

He further aligned with the calls of Oyoko Hemaa, Nana Serwaa Akoto Tiwaah II, who appealed for governmental support in areas such as education, public sanitation, and youth employment. Mr. Agyei also echoed Assemblyman Hon. Emmanuel Akuoko Oyoko’s encouragement to the youth, urging them to take an active role in shaping the future of Asanti Oyoko.

Under the leadership of Mr. Collins Agyei, the Asanti Oyoko homecoming launch not only celebrated the community’s rich culture and heritage but also reinforced a strong commitment to unity, collaboration, and sustainable development. The initiative stands as a testament to the power of organized community leadership in fostering local progress.
