MP Shirley Kyei Receives Special Prayers at Nkawie Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) Reaffirms Commitment to Constituents
The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Hon. Shirley Kyei, on Sunday, January 4, 2026, received special prayers at the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) at Nkawie Central as part of a thanksgiving and prayer tour across her constituency.
The visit was aimed at thanking God for His guidance, protection, and mercies since she assumed office, while also seeking divine wisdom and direction to effectively carry out her parliamentary responsibilities. Hon. Shirley Kyei expressed gratitude to God for the lives of her constituents, party executives, and all supporters who have contributed to her work in Parliament.

Addressing the congregation, the MP thanked the church leadership and members for their endorsement and prayers during the last general elections, noting that the spiritual support she received from the Christian community played a significant role in her electoral success and leadership journey.
Reflecting on the outcome of the 2024 general elections, Hon. Kyei stated that although she had hoped the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would retain political power, the results did not favour the party. She, however, expressed optimism about the future and appealed to constituents to remain united and supportive, with the hope of returning the NPP to power in the 2028 general elections.
The MP reaffirmed her commitment to the people of Atwima Nwabiagya South, assuring them of her dedication to serving with integrity, diligence, and a strong focus on development and the welfare of the constituency.

The Circuit Pastor of the church, Reverend Humphrey Assafuah, led the congregation in special prayers for Hon. Shirley Kyei, constituency executives, and party faithful. The prayers sought divine guidance, wisdom, protection, and strength to enable the MP to excel in her duties as a legislator and representative of the people.
The church community pledged continued spiritual support for the MP and prayed for peace, unity, and progress within the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency.
