Hon. Seth Osei Akoto, Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency, has embarked on an extensive tour of his constituency to personally thank residents for their support during the 2024 elections and to outline his development agenda. The tour included visits to Ntobroso, Aniamoah, Wurubegu, Kwabena Kwa, Kwabena Fori, Pasoro, and Anansu.

During his visits, Hon. Akoto engaged residents in open dialogue, giving them the opportunity to express their concerns and share ideas for the betterment of their communities. A central focus of these discussions was the poor state of the Anansu–Kwabena Fori road, a major source of difficulty for residents due to its deteriorated condition.

“I am committed to improving our road network, beginning with the Anansu to Kwabena Fori road. Good infrastructure is crucial for economic development, access to education, and healthcare, and it is my priority to ensure our communities benefit from it,” Hon. Akoto stated.

The MP also emphasized the importance of collaboration with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Mponua to drive sustainable development across the constituency. He assured residents that their grievances and suggestions would inform his plans and that development projects would be implemented with transparency and efficiency.

Residents expressed appreciation for Hon. Akoto’s hands-on approach, noting that such direct engagement with community members has been limited in the past. Many conveyed optimism that the MP’s promises would translate into real change, particularly in terms of road infrastructure and community development initiatives.

By actively listening to his constituents and pledging concrete development projects, Hon. Akoto demonstrates a strong commitment to improving the livelihoods of the people of Atwima Mponua. His community engagement underscores a proactive approach to leadership and a determination to deliver meaningful progress throughout the constituency.
