MP for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency Embarks On ‘Thank You’ Tour

The NPP Member of Parliament for the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency in the Ashanti  Region, Hon Kofi Amankwah Manu is embarking on what he termed as ‘Thank you ‘ tour in all the communities in his constituency to show his appreciation and that of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for their support

He has already visited over 8 communities and expected to visit the rest 64 before the end of the year.

Accompanied by his constituency chairman, Mr Emmanuel Agyei Danquah, Prince Kakari brempong Constituency secretary, 1st vice chairman Mr. Oduro Kyerema ,Women organizer madam Akua Adutwumwaah Ameyaw  and other party supporters

 Hon Kofi Amankwaah Manu commended the people for the confidence imposed in him and promised to fulfill his promises.

Addressing a Durbar organized in some communities on Sunday, January 10, Hon. Amankwa-Manu noted that, the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency needs to be alleviated from extreme poverty, adding that education system in the vicinity should also be improved to enhance development.

“On behalf of the President elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and my own behalf I want to express our gratitude to Nananom and the people for voting massively for us to steer this part of the country into its needed haven.

We pledged to fulfill all the promises we made in the wake of the December 7 general elections.

Atwima Kwanwoma constituency has shown love and confidence in the NPP government  led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.

Am extremely happy that you bought our campaign message and voted for the NPP accordingly. The NPP would continually be grateful for your massive support”

According to the MP, there was the need for him to visit the people to express his appreciation because they wasted their time and energy in long queue just to ensure that NPP and for that matter Nana Addo wins convincelly in the constituency.

He encouraged them to sustain the unity among them to achieve all that had been penciled to improve the socio- economic growth of the people of the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency.

Hon Kofi Amankwah- Manu said the development of Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency is one of his topmost priority .

He used the opportunity to outline his developmental projects he wants to tackle for his first four years.

In a related development, some of the Nananom also congratulated Hon Kofi Amankwah -Manu for  winning the seat for the NPP and pledged their supports to him.

The chief of Afrancho Odumase, Nana Kofi Acheamfour seized the opportunity to appeal to Hon Kofi Amankwah- Manu  to help construct a market for the community.

 He said the absence of a market place was seriously affecting economic activities in the community.


He said the community, which was gradually developing into a peri-urban status, needed a modern market to help promote commercial activities to improve the socio-economic lives of the people.

For her part, the Queen mother of Adum Afrancho,Nana Attaa Agyeiwaa

appealed to the MP Hon Kofi Amankwah to come to their aid by establishing a permanent police post to curtail what they termed as the sudden increase in robbery activities in the area. She said  nananom have vast land which can be used to build a vocational training school .

Finally she appealed to the MP that road linking to Adum Afrancho community are indeplorable state which  need  to be facelift.
