The Member of Parliament for the Kumawu Constituency, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has officially concluded the 2025 edition of his Quarterly Financial Support Programme with the presentation of cash assistance to the final batch of beneficiary students pursuing tertiary education.

The final disbursement brings to a close a year-long education support initiative that benefitted a total of 200 students from the Kumawu Constituency who are enrolled in various tertiary institutions across the country. The programme was introduced to provide financial relief to students and their families amid the increasing cost of higher education and to ensure that financial challenges do not hinder academic progress.

Addressing beneficiaries during the presentation, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to education as a cornerstone of empowerment and sustainable development. He emphasized that investing in the education of young people remains a top priority of his leadership, noting that the future growth and competitiveness of the Kumawu Constituency depend largely on a well-educated and skilled human resource base.
According to the MP, the Quarterly Financial Support Programme was structured to offer timely assistance to students facing difficulties with tuition fees, accommodation, learning materials, and other academic-related expenses. He encouraged beneficiaries to remain focused on their studies, uphold discipline, and strive for academic excellence, urging them to see the support as a responsibility to give back positively to their communities after completion of their education.

Some of the beneficiary students who spoke to the media expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Anim for the intervention, describing it as timely, impactful, and supportive, especially at a time when the cost of tertiary education continues to rise. They noted that the financial assistance has eased the burden on their families and provided them with renewed motivation to concentrate on their academic work.

The Quarterly Financial Support Programme forms part of Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim’s broader development agenda aimed at expanding access to education, promoting youth empowerment, and investing in the future human capital of the Kumawu Constituency. Through sustained initiatives such as this, the MP continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring that no deserving student is left behind due to financial constraints.
