The Member of Parliament (MP) for Heman Lower Denkyira Constituency, Hon. Lawrence Agyinsam, has made a generous donation of farm inputs and cash worth GHC 20,000 to the Showboy Foundation in support of its mission to promote agribusiness and empower the youth.

The items donated included Wellington boots, cutlasses, spraying machines, and other essential farming tools, presented during the official launch of the Showboy Foundation and the Showboy Agroecology Fun Club.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Agyinsam reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening agriculture as a key pillar of development in the constituency. He emphasized that his support to the Foundation is not just a one-off gesture but the beginning of a long-term collaboration aimed at boosting agricultural initiatives.
The MP noted that farming remains the lifeline of the Ghanaian economy and called on the youth, particularly students in basic and senior high schools, to embrace agriculture as a serious career option. He pledged to work closely with the Foundation’s leadership to create awareness and sensitize students on the importance of agriculture in national development.

Receiving the donation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Showboy Foundation, Mr. Isaac Agyiri, popularly known as Showboy, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Agyinsam for the timely support. He praised the MP’s vision for youth empowerment and assured that the farm inputs would be put to proper use to advance the Foundation’s agricultural projects.
Mr. Agyiri further encouraged young Ghanaians to view agriculture not as a job of last resort but as a promising and rewarding venture. He stressed that with modern techniques and strong institutional support, farming can provide sustainable income and opportunities for self-reliance.
The launch of the Showboy Foundation and Showboy Agroecology Fun Club attracted community leaders, youth groups, and other stakeholders, who hailed the partnership between the MP and the Foundation as a progressive step toward strengthening agribusiness and reducing youth unemployment.
The event concluded with a renewed call for collaboration among policymakers, private institutions, and the youth to harness agriculture as a driving force for economic growth in Ghana.
