Just this dawn, the market women at the Mile-7 market had to wake up only to find out that, their shops were being burnt down by a huge flame of fire. This sad incident has caused many of these market women to break down emotionally because they invested so much into these shops.
In a video that was released about this sad incident, some of the market women who saw the fire burn down their were left helpless and they called on Jesus to come and save them. Most of them were screaming and yelling for help.
According to reports, the fire came from one food joint and it spread throughout the market, burning down several other shops with items worth millions of cedis. After long hours of burning, the fire service showed up at the place but the damage had already been done.
At the moment, no deaths have been recorded but it has been confirmed that several shops were indeed burnt to ashes and some of the shop owners have been left devastated with no hope.
