Margins Group Executive Enstooled as Chief of Apapam-Esaase

In a grand and colorful ceremony, the Western North Regional Manager for Foreigners Identity Management Systems (FIMS), a subsidiary of the Margins Group, Mr. George Nana Effah Boadu, known popularly as King Bobo, has been enstooled as the Chief of Apapam-Esaase under the Kyebi Traditional Council in the Eastern Region. He will now be known by his stool name, Baffour Nana Kwaku Sono Sikabede IV.

The enstoolment ceremony, held at the forecourt of Okyeaman Fie, was attended by a large gathering of traditional authorities, clergy, security personnel, and dignitaries from various sectors.

Commitment to Development and Progress

After swearing the Oath of Allegiance to the Chief of Apapam, Okogyeaman Opagyafori IV, Baffour Nana Kwaku Sono Sikabede IV assured his people of his unwavering commitment to development. He pledged to leverage his influence, connections, and leadership position to attract developmental projects to Apapam-Esaase from both government agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

“Apapam-Esaase is our home, and as a chief, I hold its progress close to my heart. My focus will be on securing key projects such as the establishment of a Senior High School or a TVET institution to enhance education, improving infrastructure, promoting tourism, and supporting small-scale industries,” he stated.

He further called on all natives of Apapam-Esaase, both home and abroad, to unite and contribute toward the town’s growth, emphasizing that peace and harmony among the people would be crucial for sustainable development.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several high-profile personalities, including:

The event showcased rich Ghanaian tradition and culture, with drumming, dancing, and various customary rites performed in honor of the new chief.
