MANSO NKWANTA MP CUTS SOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SIX-UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AT PAKYI NO 1 ZONGO.






The Member of Parliament for Manso Nkwanta constituency, Hon Joseph Albert Quarm together with the pakyi no 1 zongo chiefs has cut sod for the construction of an ultramodern Six Unit Classroom Block for the good people of pakyi no 1 Zongo community.





The project which is expected to be completed before the end of the year is being financed through the Ministry of Inner-City and Zongo Development.





Hon Joseph Albert Quarm said the facility will improve the educational infrastructure, enhance enrollment capacity and create a sound environment to facilitate effective teaching and learning in the Zongo community.









He emphasized that education is a vital tool to personal and national development; hence, his commitment together with that of the Government to ensure provision of quality and accessible education to the constituents.
As such, provision of education at the basic and secondary levels will continue to be a topmost priority.





He also promised that the road linking from the main road to the pakyi no 1 community will see a facelift soon and urged the people to also initiate self-help development projects to complement government efforts.





Member of parliament, Hon Quarm Joseph Albert pledged the assembly’s resolve to see to the successful completion of the project.





According to him, the project, when completed, will not only create a better environment for the pupils but also bring comfort to teachers, as well as improve academic performance.





However Nana Seidu Zeabu Zakari pakyi no 1 Zongo Chief commended the Member of Parliament for Amansie West and the Government for providing them with the Six Unit Classroom Block to enhance the teaching and learning, including Arabic language.
