Ten brand new tricycle machines has been presented to ten electoral area coordinators of Manso Nkwanta Constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
The antecedent behind this presentation is to develop a certain strategy to raise funds to support the party activities in the Constituency level.
The presentation that took off today at Manso Nkwanta by the newly elected constituency executives headed by the chairman of the Constituency Mr.Owusu Mensah is expected to mobilize revenue to finance the party activities in the area.
An amount of Ninety thousand Ghana cedis were used to purchase these machines through the coffers from the newly elected constituency executives.
Presenting these machines at the historic event the Constituency chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party in Manso Nkwanta constituency Hon. Owusu Mensah opined that that decision by the new executives of the Constituency to make this presentation fulfils the promise they made to the delegates during the just ended constituency election. And this will help to raise some money to finance the party activities in the Constituency.
He said as a party there is the need to focus more on the well being of the people and this is what we are seeing it today.
He added that currently the Constituency is blessed with twenty seven electoral areas and out of this we were abled to purchase ten tricycles which we are using this medium to appeal to other philanthropist to come in our need in order to purchase more of these machines to the remaining once.
Politics is all about the well being of the people and that is what we are doing it today these equipment is going to create jobs for our people and we are highly on course to assist some of the members in our electoral areas.
According to Hon. Owusu Mensah some farmers find it difficult to transport their goods from their farms, sometimes thieves steals their cocoa beans during fermentation and this machine will help them to transport their goods for them without any difficulties.
The most important thing is that that these machines are not going to be use on NPP farmers alone all the members in various political parties will benefit from it including our opponent NDC members since politics is not about divisions but unity.
He said anyone who will use these machines will pay small amount to support it maintenance.
Meanwhile some of the polling station coordinators who benefited from this presentation expressed their profound gratitude to the chairman of the constituency Mr.Owusu Mensah for his fulfilled campaign promise and assure him that they will maintain it and make it useful at all time.
