Manso Adubia NDC Youth Organizer, Addai Joseph, Appointed Director of Youth Employment Agency for Amansie South

In a significant boost to youth leadership and grassroots political representation, Mr. Addai Joseph, the dynamic Youth Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Manso Adubia, has been appointed as the Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) for the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region.

The appointment, which was confirmed earlier this week, has been widely welcomed by party faithful, youth groups, and community members across the district, many of whom view it as a timely and deserving recognition of Mr. Addai’s dedication to youth development and political activism.

Mr. Addai Joseph has long been a prominent figure in the political and youth empowerment space in Manso Adubia and beyond. His tireless efforts to mobilize and support the youth, particularly under the banner of the NDC, have earned him a solid reputation as a grassroots leader with a deep understanding of the challenges and aspirations of young people in the district.

Supporters say his appointment to head the Youth Employment Agency in Amansie South is both strategic and inspiring, given his on-the-ground experience and passion for community development.

In a brief interaction with some youth leaders following the announcement, Mr. Addai expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to serve with diligence and integrity. He emphasized that his tenure will focus on creating sustainable job opportunities, strengthening youth entrepreneurship, and facilitating skills training programs to address unemployment and underemployment in the district.

“This is not just a personal milestone; it is a victory for all young people in Amansie South,” he said. “I am committed to working closely with all stakeholders—traditional leaders, assembly members, civil society, and the private sector—to ensure that the Youth Employment Agency becomes a real engine of empowerment for the youth in our communities.”

Several community leaders and party executives have also sent in their congratulations, calling on all residents to rally behind Mr. Addai in his new role to ensure the success of his vision.

As the new Director, Mr. Addai Joseph will be responsible for implementing and supervising YEA programs within the district, coordinating job creation initiatives, and providing oversight for youth development strategies that align with national goals.

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA), established by the Government of Ghana, is mandated to support the youth through job placement, skills development, and entrepreneurship promotion.

Mr. Addai’s appointment comes at a time when youth unemployment continues to be a pressing issue in many parts of the country, particularly in rural districts like Amansie South. Stakeholders are optimistic that his leadership will bring renewed energy and tangible results to the agency’s operations in the district.

Wishing Mr. Addai Joseph a successful and impactful tenure in office.
