The Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia and Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, has extended financial assistance to over 45 tertiary students within the Amansie South District. This support, totaling GHC 100,000, is intended to cater to the students’ school fees, books, and other academic supplies, helping to ease the financial burden on them and their families.

The gesture is part of Hon. Frimpong Addo’s commitment to alleviating the challenges faced by students in the district. During the presentation ceremony, he emphasized the importance of education in building a skilled workforce for the future of the district, underscoring his dedication to promoting academic development in the area.

“Amansie South District needs the development of manpower skills, and that is why I am committed to investing in the education of our young people,” Hon. Frimpong Addo stated. He further encouraged the beneficiaries to make the best use of the funds to advance their studies and improve their academic performance. “This is something I have been doing for years, and I will continue to support students in this district,” he added.

The MP also stressed that the gesture is not a one-time event but part of an ongoing effort to support education, particularly in disadvantaged communities within the district.

The beneficiaries, visibly excited by the support, expressed their gratitude to the MP. Some of them assured that they would put the financial aid to good use by focusing on their studies and excelling academically.

The donation has been hailed by parents and community members as a timely intervention, particularly as many families are grappling with economic challenges that make funding education difficult.

Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo’s continued support for education in the Amansie South District has earned him praise as a leader who prioritizes human resource development, a critical factor in driving local and national progress.
