Manso Adubia MP Hon. Yaw Addo Frimpong Applauds EC, Security Agencies for Smooth NPP Presidential Primary

The Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia, Hon. Yaw Addo Frimpong, has commended the Electoral Commission (EC) and the security agencies for the peaceful, transparent, and well-organised conduct of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primary election in the constituency.
Hon. Yaw Addo Frimpong gave the commendation after observing the voting process at the Adubia R/C United School Park, where a total of 770 delegates were expected to cast their ballots. He described the exercise as calm and orderly, noting that delegates were able to vote freely without intimidation, confusion, or disruption.
According to the MP, the Electoral Commission demonstrated a high level of professionalism and efficiency in managing the electoral process. He specifically praised the EC officer in charge, Mr. Eric Anane, and his team for their strict adherence to electoral procedures, effective verification of delegates, and the smooth flow of activities at the polling centre.
Hon. Yaw Addo Frimpong also lauded the security agencies deployed to the centre for maintaining tight security throughout the election. He stated that the visible presence and vigilance of the security personnel helped to ensure law and order, prevent disturbances, and instil confidence among delegates and party officials.
The MP expressed satisfaction with the overall conduct of the primary, describing it as peaceful and incident-free. He noted that the successful organisation of the exercise reflects the NPP’s commitment to strengthening internal democracy and promoting unity within the party ahead of future national elections.
He further urged party supporters, delegates, and stakeholders to remain calm and respect the outcome of the presidential primary, stressing that peace, discipline, and unity are essential for the party’s growth and electoral success.
The NPP Presidential Primary in Manso Adubia formed part of a nationwide exercise to select the party’s flagbearer, with the smooth conduct of the process reinforcing public confidence in the party’s democratic credentials.
