Manso Adubia MP and DCE Commission 3-Unit Teachers’ Bungalow at Manso Nyamebekyere D/A School

The Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, and the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie South, Hon. Clement Opoku Gyamfi, have jointly commissioned a newly constructed 3-unit self-contained teachers’ bungalow at Manso Nyamebekyere D/A School. The facility, which was funded through the District Assembly Performance Tool (DPAT), is expected to ease the accommodation challenges faced by teachers in the community.

At the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Clement Opoku Gyamfi commended the teachers for their unwavering dedication to their work despite the challenges they face in the community. He expressed hope that the new bungalow would provide some relief and enhance the productivity of the teachers. He also urged the beneficiaries of the facility to adopt a culture of maintenance to ensure its longevity, assuring them that the Assembly would return to address any future issues with the facility.

Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, the MP for the area, took the opportunity to address some of the concerns raised by the community. Residents, including the Assembly Member, the chief, teachers, and other community members, had earlier appealed for key amenities such as electricity, a CHPS compound, telecommunications network coverage, and improved roads.

In response, Hon. Addo assured the community that he had taken note of their concerns and would do everything within his capacity to help resolve their problems. He encouraged them to continue supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to ensure the continued development of the constituency.

The commissioning event was attended by community leaders, teachers, and residents, all of whom expressed their appreciation for the new facility but also reiterated the pressing need for additional infrastructure and services to support the community’s growth and development.
