The Assembly Member for the Adubia Electoral Area in the Amansie South District, Hon. Peter Awere, has thrown his weight behind the presidential campaign of Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong with a strong show of support in the Ashanti Region.
In a bid to enhance the visibility and mobilization of the campaign, Hon. Awere presented branded T-shirts bearing the image and slogan of Kennedy Agyapong to the Ashanti Regional Campaign Team. The donation, according to him, is meant to boost recognition during the ongoing constituency tour while energizing grassroots supporters to rally behind the cause.

Beyond the provision of logistics, the Manso Adubia Assembly Member also extended significant financial support to the campaign machinery. His contribution, campaign officials noted, will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth execution of activities, including transportation, outreach, and coordination at the constituency level.
The items and cash donation were officially received on behalf of the team by Mr. Yaw Brefo, Head of Operations for Kennedy Agyapong’s Ashanti Regional Campaign. He was joined by Mr. Silas Asiedu, Head of Research for the Regional Team, and Dr. Hubert Bimpeh Asiedu.
Expressing the team’s gratitude, Mr. Brefo praised Hon. Awere for his generosity and commitment to Kennedy Agyapong’s vision. He described the endorsement as a testament to the confidence that grassroots leaders and opinion shapers in the Ashanti Region continue to place in Kennedy Agyapong’s leadership and development agenda.
In his remarks, Hon. Awere emphasized that his support stems from Kennedy Agyapong’s proven track record of bold leadership, philanthropy, and dedication to national progress. He further urged delegates and party faithful in the Ashanti Region, especially in Manso Adubia, to remain united, focused, and committed to the campaign’s mission.
The Ashanti Regional Campaign Team assured Hon. Awere that his contributions would be effectively utilized to strengthen the tour and consolidate support across the region. They also described the endorsement as a morale booster that would inspire greater participation among grassroots members.
Political observers believe Hon. Awere’s open support could have a ripple effect in mobilizing more local leaders within the Amansie South District and beyond to back Kennedy Agyapong’s presidential bid.
