Mr Akwasi Konadu, The Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia North, in the Ashanti region has donated a cheque of undisclosed amount to WESCO Practice Primary B to enhance the teaching and learning environment of the school.
The donation aims to support the school’s efforts to improve its infrastructure, specifically the staff room, office, and store room.
According to him, the cheque donation will help enhance the school’s facilities, creating a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.
Mr. Konadu’s explained that the gesture demonstrates his commitment to supporting education and giving back to the community.
The MP has also donated 100 bags of cement to Kumasi Wesley College and plans to rehabilitate abandoned school buildings and roads in the constituency.
He disclosed that the donation is in line with his commitment to enhancing the teaching and learning environment of schools in his constituency.
According to the Manhyia North MP, the donation is expected to have a positive impact on the school, enabling it to provide better resources and facilities for teachers and students.
