OPINION LEADERS in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti region led by Nana Kwaku Boah ( Kotokuom Dikro), Hon Mohammed Sagura( Assembly Man for Otaakrom), Hon Charles Nsiah ( Assembly Man for Ntobroso-Aniamoa) ,Hon Kwadwo Asante ( Assembly Man for Mpasatia) have petitioned H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to maintain their hardworking, visionary, diminutive leader Hon Williams Yaw Darko – DCE for Atwima Mponua District Assembly as he spearheaded together with Hon Simon Osei Mensah ( Ashanti Regional Minister) ,Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah ( Sports Min & MP for Atwima Mponua Constituency) as well as Nyinahin Youth to safeguarded the Nyinahin bauxite from Ibrahim Mahama which is now the impetus of Ghana,s economy.
In a press conference held at Nyinahin, the Opinion Leaders deduced that through the good collaboration with Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah , Assembly Members and the stakeholders have brought peace , development and unity as previously there seems to be some chieftaincy disputes and some violence from youth .
In terms of development, through the good leadership skills by Hon Darko, Atwima Mponua has experienced historic vast projects in areas of education,health, electrification expansion, ownership of District Cocoa office at Nyinahin, ECG office amongst a lot and hence need continuity.
According to the Opinion Leaders, Hon Williams Darko who is also former Assembly Man for Nyinahin Junction for two terms is down with his folks and together with Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah have brought historic massive developmental Projects than any DCE since the creation of the Assembly in 2005.
In Akan adage: de3 woforo dua pa na ye pia no in a literally meaning: we support the someone who climb a good tree and Hon Williams Yaw Darko deserves continuity as the last election performed excellently for the party success and maintainship of hardworking Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah as well.
