Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe, the Director of Legal affairs for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has Re-affirmed former President John Dramani Mahama,the flagbearer of the party commitment to be accountable to Ghanaians if given the mandate to be President of the Republic again.
According to him, the NDC in uncountable occasions stated his commitment for accountability to the citizenry and ensure his appointees do same to ensure value for the taxpayers monies.
Speaking on the NDC recent manifesto launched as pragmatic vision or populist promises, he stated that, though the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) decided to to copy what the NDC did in their manifesto, they will not undermine Universities Internally Generated Fund (IGF) in the Free Academic fees, while abolishing obnoxious Corona Virus (COVID-19) betting taxes and other nuisance taxes.
He disclosed that, the NDC agenda towards immediate economic recovery, would investigate the Ambulance Spare parts,PDS, National Cathedral and other state loots properties dubbed Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL).
He assured the Ghanaian electorates to have confidence in the NDC new Government for accountability and transparent governing to ensure that, any looted funds and state property that has been taken away from the state through state capture by a few family and friends to be retrive for the state for the benefit all the citizenry irrespective of one’s religious, political or geographical dispensation.
