Maa Vida Donates Over 3,000 Relief Items to Church Members, Widows, and Needy with Annual Donation

The Founder and General Overseer of Vida Bethel Prayer Ministry, Dr. Prophetess Mrs. Vida Osei Mensah, popularly known as Maa Vida, has once again demonstrated her commitment to community service by donating over 3,000 relief items to church members, widows, the needy, and other vulnerable persons. The event took place on December 31 at Aprade-Pakoso in the Ashanti Region as part of the ministry’s annual end-of-year charity initiative.

The items distributed included cloth (ntoma), bags of rice, cooking oil, mackerel, tins of tomatoes, and other essential household items, reaching beneficiaries from both the church and surrounding communities. The outreach was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged and supporting those who face challenges in their daily lives.

Addressing the gathering, Maa Vida explained that the initiative was an expression of gratitude to God for His protection over the past year and a way to demonstrate love, care, and compassion to the community. She emphasized that giving back is a core Christian value and encouraged members to embrace generosity and service to others.

In addition to the donation, Maa Vida took the opportunity to advise the youth on responsible living. She urged them to be mindful of their friendships, movements, and lifestyles, reminding them that the people they associate with can positively or negatively influence their future. She also encouraged young people to commit their lives to God, allowing Him to guide their decisions and lead them toward a purposeful life.

“Not every path or companion leads to success,” Maa Vida said, stressing the importance of making wise choices to build a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude for the donations, describing the items as timely support that would help ease household burdens and bring joy during the festive season. Widows and other vulnerable community members particularly praised the initiative, acknowledging its positive impact on their lives.

The annual charity event has become a hallmark of Vida Bethel Prayer Ministry, reinforcing the church’s dedication to social responsibility and community development. The outreach continues to inspire other individuals and organizations to extend a helping hand to the needy, reflecting the values of love, compassion, and service.
