Lilwin Engages Media in Kumasi Ahead of International Premiere of “A Country Called Ghana”

Renowned Ghanaian actor and comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has engaged the media in Kumasi ahead of the highly anticipated international premiere of his latest movie, A Country Called Ghana.

Speaking at the media briefing, Lilwin urged Ghanaians and Nigerians to fully support the movie, emphasizing that it is a true African story that seeks to project the rich culture and heritage of Ghana to the world.

The official premiere of A Country Called Ghana is set for February 28, 2025, and will be screened simultaneously in all cinemas across Nigeria and the 16 regions of Ghana. According to Lilwin, the movie is not just for entertainment but also a powerful tool to promote Ghana globally.

 

“This is an authentic African story. We are using A Country Called Ghana not just as a movie but as a means to sell and project Ghana to the world. I urge all my fans, media personnel, bloggers, and our brothers and sisters in Nigeria and beyond to support and promote this great initiative,” Lilwin stated.

He further called on actors and industry players in Nigeria to join in pushing the movie beyond the African continent. He believes that with the support of the media, A Country Called Ghana will gain massive international recognition and contribute to the growth of the African film industry.

Lilwin also encouraged media outlets and bloggers to use their platforms to spread the message about the movie, ensuring that it reaches a global audience.

As excitement builds ahead of the premiere, fans across Ghana and Nigeria are eagerly awaiting what is expected to be one of the biggest African movie releases of 2025.
