Assembly member of Kumawu Dadease Hon Kofi Adade has made a statement that, the main challenge associated with the community is lack of land for farming.
Speaking during a rice donation program by Global Active Christian Development at Kumawu Dadease he stressed that, cola nut was the main crop the community used to work on but later changed to cassava and all the surrounded communities come to Dadease to buy and that even made the basic of their current market.
According to him, almost all the land there are sandy soil and the heads of the families has sold them out for sand winning and that has left the farmers stranded as they get no land for farming and has affected them economically.
He called on stakeholders and NGOs to assist the community especially the citizens leaving outside the community in any support for their living
Rev Robert Addai Aboagye executive director for Global Active Christian Development also called on everyone especially widows to depend on God and he will assist them as he was once a needy but as he started depending on God, he now assist others.
He called on well-meaning people to stretch their support to the needy to attain God’s blessings.
