The deputy minister for local government decentralization and rural development also member of Parliament for offinso North Hon Augustine Collins Ntim has urged all engineers within district who benefited from the Ghana productive safety net project under the feeder roads module to intensify labour intensive public works in feeder road construction.
According to Hon deputy minister,the motive of labour intensive public works is to construct feeder roads and Dams on labour base without the use of machines so as part of his working visits ,he noticed that, the outcomes of labour intensive public works is superb and it must be encourage in our various districts.
In an interview with the media during Training session organized by the ministry of local government decentralization and rural development for all Facility management committee members at Akomadan.
Moreso,he urged all district engineers to own every projects in their various districts by exhibiting the act of maintenance culture..
