Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene Has No Authority to Act for Yeboah Afihene Industries – Management Clarifies

The Management Board and Shareholders of Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited (YAIL) have released an official statement to set the record straight regarding the status of Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene, firmly declaring that he has no authority to act on behalf of the company in any capacity.
In a public disclaimer issued and signed by Phyllis Yeboah Afihene on behalf of the company’s Management Board and Shareholders, YAIL categorically stated that Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene is not the Managing Director of Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited and, therefore, should not be recognized or engaged in any business transaction related to the company. “This is to formally notify all tenants and the general public that Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene is not the Managing Director of Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited (YAIL). Accordingly, no tenant or member of the public should make any payment of rent or other monies to him in respect of YAIL. Any person who disregards this notice and makes payments to Mr. Kwame Assuama Yeboah Afihene does so entirely at their own risk,” the disclaimer stated.
The company explained that the notice became necessary after it received reports suggesting that the said individual had been misrepresenting himself as the Managing Director and allegedly demanding rent and other forms of payments from tenants and clients. The management described such actions as unauthorized, fraudulent, and a gross misrepresentation of the company’s leadership.
According to YAIL, all tenants and stakeholders are advised to exercise caution and ensure that any financial or contractual dealings with the company are done strictly through officially designated officers. The management emphasized that any payment made to unauthorized persons will not be recognized and the company will not be held responsible for any losses resulting from such actions. “Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited operates in full compliance with Ghana’s corporate governance and business regulations. All official transactions, including rent payments, are conducted through legitimate company representatives under direct supervision of the Management Board and Shareholders,” the statement continued.
The management further assured the public that YAIL remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and transparency in all its operations. The company also reaffirmed its readiness to take legal action against anyone who falsely represents the company or seeks to exploit tenants and clients under fraudulent pretenses.
Phyllis Yeboah Afihene, speaking on behalf of the Management Board, reiterated the company’s position and urged tenants and clients to verify all communications and financial instructions through the company’s head office before making any payments or commitments. “We want to assure all our tenants and clients that Yeboah Afihene Industries Limited remains a trusted and professionally managed business. We advise everyone to disregard any individual claiming to act as Managing Director unless such a person is formally introduced and confirmed by the company’s board,” she said.
The management concluded the statement by encouraging the public to report any suspicious approaches, payment requests, or false representations of the company’s authority to YAIL’s head office or the appropriate law enforcement agencies for prompt investigation.
