Kwadwokrom Community Center Commissioned to Promote Education and Development

In a significant move to enhance education and social cohesion, Nana Kwabena Bonsu, Otumfuo Suaduhene, has commissioned a multipurpose community center at Kwadwokrom. The newly inaugurated facility is expected to create an enabling environment for students to study while serving as a hub for social gatherings and community engagements.

The commissioning ceremony saw the presence of traditional leaders, government officials, and community members, who lauded the initiative for its potential to uplift the people of Kwadwokrom and Ampabame. The facility is anticipated to play a crucial role in promoting education, fostering unity, and enhancing development in the area.

Speaking at the event, Nana Kwabena Bonsu called on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and benevolent individuals to support the center with computers and other resources to enhance Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education among the youth. He emphasized the importance of ICT skills in today’s world and how equipping young people with technological knowledge could open doors to numerous opportunities.

Nana Boansi Poku, Otumfuo Suadu Nifahene, reaffirmed his dedication to working closely with stakeholders to promote quality education in the community. He urged the youth to take advantage of ICT education to empower themselves and contribute meaningfully to national development.

The commissioning ceremony was also graced by the Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye, who commended Nana Kwabena Bonsu for spearheading the project. He acknowledged the impact of such infrastructure in promoting development and assured the community that his office would ensure the completion of ongoing road networks in the area to facilitate economic growth and improve accessibility.

 

Residents of Kwadwokrom and Ampabame expressed their gratitude for the community center, highlighting its potential to transform the area by providing a conducive space for learning and social interactions. They also welcomed the call for ICT support and pledged to make good use of the facility.

The newly commissioned center stands as a testament to the community’s commitment to education and development, setting the stage for further initiatives aimed at improving the lives of its people.
